SIAMS

SIAMS Report

SIAMS stands for Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools. It is an official inspection that evaluates how well a Church of England or Methodist school reflects its Christian vision in every aspect of school life.

The aim is to ensure that the school’s Christian ethos supports all children to flourish academically, socially, and spiritually. SIAMS reports celebrate strengths and identify areas for growth, helping schools live out their vision effectively.

Church of England and Methodist schools are subject to a SIAMS inspection approximately every five years. Inspectors must answer 6 or 7 inspection questions, enabling them to evaluate the school's effectiveness as a Church school.

St Mary’s CE Primary school had a SIAMS inspection in June 2017.  A copy of the report can be accessed above.  The school is due to be re-inspected during the academic year 2025-2026.
