Reflection Areas

At St Mary's we encourage our children to use the reflective spaces in school. We believe it is right to ask questions and seek answers, to develop a sense of awe and wonder and to explore the dimensions of the spirit and just be still, even for a moment.

Reflective areas are accessible in each classroom and each room has a seating area especially for the children. We also have a communal prayer area and prayer tree. Since our last SIAMS inspection we have created an outside 'Spiritual and Learning Area' and the Values Committee are currently working on creating a Spiritual Area outside to be accessible at play times.
