Welcome to Year 3 with Mrs Main
Home Learning Y3 Resources
Well done to everyone in Year 3 this year.
Have a wonderful Summer holiday - relax and refresh ready for your return in September.
Home Learning resources from last term will remain for you to access if you have time over the holidays.
I'm looking forward to welcoming new Year 3 children in the Autumn Term. Our topic is history based - we will be finding out about Stone Age and Roman Britain. Science topics in the Autumn term will be 'Forces' and 'Light'.
Our school day will be much the same as when you were here last, although we will be taking it a little bit more slowly to enable us all to keep safe. I will be making sure we have time for outdoor activities and learning, too. Our lunchtime will be 11.45am. until 12.45pm.
Things to Know:
Children will only need to bring a coat, snack, water bottle and diary into school. They will be given a pencil case with all the resources they need to keep in school. NO OTHER BAGS WILL BE ALLOWED IN SCHOOL.
Children will be greeted at the school gate and dismissed from the Year 3 cloakroom.
Year 3 will have PE on Mondays and Fridays. On these days they will come into school in their PE kit. This is: black leggings or tracksuit bottoms, school PE shirt, school hoodie/jumper/cardigan and trainers.
After half term, Year 3 will be having Outdoor Woodland Learning sessions. We will let you know via text when these are and children can come dressed appropriately on those days.
We are not allowed to have face-to-face contact with parents at the moment, so please let me know via the journal if there are any questions or anything I need to know as these are checked on a daily basis. You can always contact the office via email or text and they will pass anything on to me.
Looking forward to seeing you - have a happy, safe summer. See you in September!
