Science
Children are naturally curious and in science we investigate the world around us. As a school we recognise that established scientific understanding is growing and developing all the time and children at St Mary's are always encouraged to be inquisitive and deepen their own scientific knowledge.
Scientific working provides a practical way of finding answers to the questions we ask about the world around us and as such children need to acquire a variety of scientific skills to help them develop the secure foundations of scientific knowledge that will support them throughout their lives.
At St. Mary's School we ensure all children are able to access a broad and balanced science curriculum regardless of their ethnic origin, gender, class, aptitude or disability.
