St. Mary's School uses the Shropshire Sacre Syllabus for Religion which encompasses Understanding Christianity and which engages and challenges pupils though the exploration of core concepts and questions.
As well as written work, children are encouraged to record their learning in a variety of forms including dance, drama, music, art and display work - such as the Y2 display on Forgiveness - The Lost Sheep, during a unit on What do Christians Believe God is like? or Year 6 creating their own hymns during a unit on What does it mean if God is Holy and Loving?
