Our Value for Autumn 2018 is TRUST
Welcome to St Mary's CE Primary School
'My child is extremely happy at St.Mary's. She is progressing well academically and is fully supported by staff. There are many extra curricular activities that she thoroughly enjoys. My child continues to 'Flourish.' Parental Survey 2018
Welcome to St Mary's! Our vision is to provide every child in our care with an outstanding education and that every child should FLOURISH! We believe that children learn best in a safe, secure and stimulating environment, where each child is valued as an individual. We offer a broad, balanced and creative curriculum which is enhanced by a wide range of additional activities, events and visits to places of interest.
St Mary’s is a Church of England school and we are proud of our links with St.Mary's Church. Our central aim is to develop the full potential of every child in our care. We regard it as of great importance for our teachers to promote attitudes of mutual respect and tolerance and a sense of personal responsibility in our pupils. We encourage children to become effective learners; able to work cooperatively and independently and having a sense of respect and responsibility towards others. Expectations are high and we are proud of the behaviour and achievements of our pupils and our school. The atmosphere within our school generates a sense of security and friendship amongst our pupils. We also have extensive links with RAF Cosford and we welcome service families to our school. 'Leaders ensure that service children and their families are well supported by specialist liaison staff. Strong links exist and there is a weekly extra-curricular ‘Spitfire club’. (OFSTED)
As a community we are proud of our school and we work together to achieve our best. Staff, parents and governors work to ensure that every child achieves their full potential, in a school which is a vibrant, creative and inspiring place to learn.
I would be delighted to show you personally around our wonderful school.
