sQuid Helpful Tips
Paying for school visits with sQuid: If you help, an instructions guide to sQuid is available in the main entrance in the blue pockets on the wall by the school office. We will upload trip letters to the sQuid site, as well as put them on this school webpage. The medical consent questions replace the consent form we used to provide you with. It is essential that you provide the school office with up to date contact details.

- Check the purse to see if you have an offer
- View offer
- Add to basket
- View basket at the top of the page
- Answer the medical consent questions. Please note you will not be able to proceed until you have completed all questions.
Proceed to payment.
sQuid have given us an email address for you to contact in case anything goes wrong with any payments you make into your account. The school office doesn't have access to your personal accounts. Please email: firstname.lastname@example.org
There are many helpful FAQ’s if you go to the bottom of the sQuid page and select ‘Help Centre’. Here are a few handy tips that may prove useful for parents and carers using sQuid.
As from the 4th Dec 2017 the 25p charge for payments under £10 has been removed.
As from the 4th Dec 2017 the field where parents select an amount to top up their catering purse will change from a drop down menu to a free form menu. There will still be a minimum amount of £3 that a parent will need to top up.
I want to credit less than £3 to my childs account?
On the ‘My sQuid page’ you can see your child’s details and the ability to ‘Top Up’ that lets you select the amount. If you want to credit less than £3, or a more precise amount, then you can do a bank transfer. sQuid do not charge you for this. Go to the banner at the top of the page and you will see ‘Top Up’. Using the drop down menu select ‘Bank Transfer’, select the child, if you have more than 1, and select either biostore for school lunches, or online ePayments for other payments. Use the details provided for your bank transfer. It states that it may take up to 4 working days to complete.
I paid for a school event/trip offer and it has been cancelled. Can I get a refund or can it be credited back to my purse?
Unfortunately, sQuid cannot refund offers, nor can they credit it back to your purse balance, so you need to contact Mrs Preece in the admin office who will write you a cheque for your refund.
sQuid can only refund you money if it is in your purse balance for example if your child is leaving the school. You will need to go to the ‘Help Centre’ which is at the bottom of the Home Page and then scroll to the bottom of the FAQ’s where you will see ‘Contact Us’. Select this and provide the following details requesting your refund.
